Former motorcycle mechanic and racer Tony Martin turned his love for all things motoring into a 4 wheel career by successfully maintaining and preparing the Nigel Dawes collection of classic sports racing cars including many former Le Mans race cars such as Jaguar C and D Type, Lightweight E Type, Aston Martin Project 215, lightweight DB4GT Zagato, DB3S, plus many more.

Tony’s engineering ability was recognised within the world of architectural engineering, resulting in a change of career, in which he worked for a bespoke metalwork fabrication company working with leading architects, engineers and fabrication staff to turn architects visions into reality. This included more than a dozen projects for Lord Norman Foster.

After a successful career in engineering, Tony’s enthusiasm for things motoring and mechanical was such that he returned to working with classic and vintage motor vehicles, initially building his own Jaguar two seater sports special, and taking on a wide variety of customer work and projects.

Tony’s years of experience give him the necessary skills, abilities and problem solving capabilities that restoring, repairing and maintaining any classic vehicle requires.
